The highly anticipated Sidney Women in Ag Conference is back and set to take place on Friday, August 1st, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the Elks Lodge, 1040 Jackson Street, Sidney, Nebraska.
Designed to celebrate, connect, and empower women involved in agriculture, this full-day event offers a rich lineup of speakers, workshops, networking opportunities, and practical insights tailored for the modern agricultural community.
This year’s keynote speaker is Kelly Huenink. Huenink, a Nebraska native adopted through the Nebraska Children's Home, grew up on a cattle ranch on Colorado's Western Slope. With a strong foundation in agriculture, Kelly went on to earn a degree in Agriculture Education and dedicated 23 years to teaching agricultural education/FFA, and later Ag Business at Northeastern Junior College.
Huenink’s keynote address titled "The Harvest of Hope: Transforming Challenges into Joy" explores the transformative power of resilience and faith in the face of adversity. Through heartfelt stories and practical insights, this talk delves into how life's challenges can become opportunities for growth, renewal, and lasting joy. Rooted in the metaphor of harvesting, it inspires listeners to cultivate hope in their own lives and reap the rewards of strength, gratitude, and purpose. It’s a message of encouragement and empowerment for anyone seeking to turn trials into triumphs.
